The longest of days nears, the ancient wheel of the seasons creaks in the heavens. The Wheel of time turns to mark summer, another new act begins in the drama  of the cosmic theater. The Summer Solstice coincides with Father’s Day this year, on Sunday June 21, 2009 at 1:46 AM EDT. The event horoscope created for that time is called The Summer Ingress Chart. It reveals the potentials the universe promises for all of us until Autumn arrives on September 22nd.

Venus and Mars will conjoin at the 15^th degree of Taurus and exactly trine Saturn at 15 degrees of Virgo. The First Eclipse

July 7 brings a lunar eclipse at the Full Moon in Capricorn, again at 15 degrees. A wide orb Grand Trine in Earth signs is present. Mars will be at 26 Taurus, exactly square the Aquarius planets. This shows an important time regarding the economy and values. The Second Eclipse

On July 21, 2009 at 10:35 PM EDT the longest total solar eclipse of the 21st Century occurs! Actually even longer, this will be the longest solar eclipse until June 13, 2132! It’s on a critical degree,  at 29 Cancer and also marks the secret Black Moon, the second New Moon in the same sign! The Sabian Symbol is “A Daughter of the American Revolution”. This suggests an important events unfolding the USA. It forms an out of sign yod, quincunx to both Pluto and Neptune, (a 4 degree orb is used). Fortunately this super important eclipse will also trine Uranus in Pisces. Out of chaos will emerge surprise benefits. It's a time to express patriotism. Water safety, both regarding drinking water and time spent near or traveling by water, should not be neglected. A potent Aquarius influence also suggests that aviation and cyber-space can be a focus. The security and safety of both will be a priority.

The Third Eclipse

The final summer time eclipse will be at the Full Moon at 13 degrees Aquarius on August 5, 2009 at 8:55 pm EDT. “A train entering a tunnel” is the Sabian Symbol of the Moon, while the Sun’s Sabian Symbol is “A Cherub whispering”. This suggests a time of darkness with a light at the end of the tunnel and the real presence of helpful angels giving  advice that it would be well to heed. This eclipse is on the day after President Obama’s August 4^thbirthday. Anyone with a birthday within 3 days of an eclipse or a natal planet within 3 degrees of an eclipse will be impacted by this profound influence. Watch for turning points in the Obama Presidency!
